Indoor Pistol Range
The 25 yard indoor Pistol range is located in the basement of the Club House. There is a ground level entrance. Two movable firing benches are available. The interior is illuminated by florescent lighting and ventilated by 2 large exhaust fans which expels air out of the range. Targets are mounted on 2 large backboards which front a set of steel baffles to contain the fired rounds. Ammunition is limited to less than 1500 FEET PER SECOND. The range is available 7 x 24 with the exception during upstairs functions. Range rules available on this page.
The range features 25, 50, 100, 200 and 300 yard targets. The 200 and 300 yard targets have bunkers with steel plate silhouettes. Every target is backed by an earthen mound and equipped with a backboard frame on which paper targets can be attached. The pavilion-covered bench permits as many as seven simultaneous shooters. The lighted pavilion is equipped with blinking down-range lights which are to be used whenever anyone is downrange to review or install targets. Range rules available on this page.
The archery range permits shooting at up to 50 yards. Convenient bow stands are placed at 45, 30 and 20 yards. Target backing permits the use of field tips and broadheads. 3D practice targets are placed in the surrounding woods to provide realism for archery hunters.
